Terapeutul spiritual nu caut\u0103 doar eliminarea durerii, ci ajut\u0103 pacientul s\u0103-i \u00een\u021beleag\u0103 sensul, s\u0103 o transforme \u00een con\u0219tiin\u021b\u0103 \u0219i credin\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Suferin\u021ba omului trece printr-un proces de transformare interioar\u0103. Procesul terapeutic al suferin\u021bei presupune trei etape:<\/p>\n<p>= Acceptarea \u2013 omul \u00eenceteaz\u0103 s\u0103 fug\u0103 de durere \u0219i o prive\u0219te cu luciditate.<\/p>\n<p>= \u00cen\u021belegerea \u2013 caut\u0103 semnifica\u021bia spiritual\u0103 a suferin\u021bei: ce anume trebuie de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat, de cur\u0103\u021bat \u0219i\u00a0 vindecat.<\/p>\n<p>= Transcenderea \u2013 durerea devine energie de cre\u0219tere \u0219i comuniune cu divinul.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen aceste procese, rug\u0103ciunea, medita\u021bia \u0219i introspec\u021bia sunt instrumente fundamentale.<\/p>\n<p>Prin rezultatele spirituale ale suferin\u021bei s-a constat c\u0103 cercet\u0103rile din domeniul psihologiei pozitive \u0219i al neuroteologiei arat\u0103 c\u0103 persoanele care trec prin suferin\u021be profunde \u0219i reu\u0219esc s\u0103 le integreze, atunci ele manifest\u0103: o mai mare compasiune fa\u021b\u0103 de ceilal\u021bi; un nivel crescut de\u00a0 empatie \u0219i altruism; o \u00eent\u0103rire a credin\u021bei \u0219i a sentimentului de sens existen\u021bial; o reducere a anxiet\u0103\u021bii fa\u021b\u0103 de moarte.<\/p>\n<p>Astfel, suferin\u021ba devine un proces de reconstruc\u021bie spiritual\u0103, iar omul cap\u0103t\u0103 o con\u0219tiin\u021b\u0103 mai matur\u0103 \u0219i mai plin\u0103 de lumin\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Suferin\u021ba omului poate fi, f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eendoial\u0103, o form\u0103 de terapie spiritual\u0103, dac\u0103 este tr\u0103it\u0103 \u00een lumina credin\u021bei \u0219i a con\u0219tientiz\u0103rii.
