A\u015fa cum am spus-o deja, marea majoritate a cre\u015ftinilor de ast\u0103zi neglijeaz\u0103 acest scop al Postului \u015fi \u00eel privesc doar ca pe o perioad\u0103 \u00een timpul c\u0103reia \u201etrebuie\u201d s\u0103-\u015fi \u00eemplineasc\u0103 obliga\u0163ia religioas\u0103 \u2013 \u00cemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fania \u201eo dat\u0103 pe an\u201d \u2013 \u015fi s\u0103 se supun\u0103 unor restric\u0163ii alimentare ce urmeaz\u0103 a fi \u00eenlocuite cur\u00eend cu dezlegarea de dup\u0103 Pa\u015fte. Iar c\u00eend nu numai laicatul dar \u015fi mul\u0163i preo\u0163i, \u00een acela\u015fi timp, au acceptat aceast\u0103 idee simplist\u0103 \u015fi formal\u0103 despre Post, adev\u0103ratul duh al Postului aproape c\u0103 a disp\u0103rut din via\u0163\u0103. Reconsiderarea liturgic\u0103 \u015fi duhovniceasc\u0103 a Postului este una din cele mai urgente cerin\u0163e, care nu poate fi realizat\u0103 dec\u00eet dac\u0103 se \u00eentemeiaz\u0103 pe o \u00een\u0163elegere real\u0103 a ritmului \u015fi structurii liturgice a Postului.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00eenceputul Postului, ca un \u201edebut\u201d al acestuia, ca un \u201eacordaj\u201d \u00eenainte de \u201earmonia\u201d deplin\u0103, g\u0103sim Marele Canon de poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103 al Sf\u00eentului Andrei Criteanul. \u00cemp\u0103r\u0163it \u00een patru p\u0103r\u0163i, este citit la Vecernia cea Mare, \u00een serile primelor patru zile ale Postului. Canonul poate fi descris cel mai bine ca o pl\u00eengere de poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103 care ne vorbe\u015fte despre propor\u0163iile \u015fi ad\u00eencimea p\u0103catului, tulbur\u00eend sufletul cu jale, c\u0103in\u0163\u0103 \u015fi n\u0103dejde. Cu o m\u0103iestrie unic\u0103, Sf\u00eentul Andrei \u00eemplete\u015fte marile teme biblice \u2013 Adam \u015fi Eva, Raiul \u015fi c\u0103derea \u00een p\u0103cat, Noe \u015fi Potopul, David, P\u0103m\u00eentul f\u0103g\u0103duin\u0163ei \u015fi, \u00een cele din urm\u0103, Hristos \u015fi Biserica \u2013 cu m\u0103rturisirea p\u0103catului \u015fi cu poc\u0103in\u0163a. Evenimentele istoriei sfinte sunt dezv\u0103luite ca evenimente ale vie\u0163ii mele, faptele lui Dumnezeu din trecut ca fapte \u00eendreptate spre mine \u015fi m\u00eentuirea mea, tragedia p\u0103catului \u015fi a tr\u0103d\u0103rii ca drama mea personal\u0103. Via\u0163a mea \u00eemi este prezentat\u0103 ca o parte a luptei m\u0103re\u0163e \u015fi atotcuprinz\u0103toare dintre Dumnezeu \u015fi puterile \u00eentunericului care s-au r\u0103zvr\u0103tit \u00eempotriva Lui.<\/p>\n<p>Canonul \u00eencepe \u00een aceast\u0103 not\u0103 foarte personal\u0103:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201eDe unde voi \u00eencepe a pl\u00eenge faptele vie\u0163ii mele tic\u0103loase? Ce \u00eencepere voi pune, Hristoase, t\u00eenguirii acestei de acum?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unul dup\u0103 altul p\u0103catele mele sunt dezv\u0103luite \u00een leg\u0103tura lor profund\u0103 cu drama continu\u0103 a rela\u0163iei omului cu Dumnezeu; istoria c\u0103derii omului \u00een p\u0103cat este istoria mea:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201eR\u00eevnind neascult\u0103rii lui Adam, celui \u00eent\u00eei zidit, m-am cunoscut pe mine dezbr\u0103cat de Dumnezeu, \u015fi de \u00eemp\u0103r\u0103\u0163ia cea veacuitoare, \u015fi de desf\u0103tare, pentru p\u0103catele mele.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Am pierdut toate darurile dumnezeie\u015fti;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201e\u00centinatu-mi-am haina trupului meu, \u015fi mi-am spurcat podoaba cea dup\u0103 chipul \u015fi dup\u0103 asem\u0103narea Ta, M\u00eentuitorule, \u00eentunecatu-mi-am frumuse\u0163ea sufletului cu dulce\u0163ile poftelor, \u015fi cu totul, toat\u0103 mintea, \u0163\u0103r\u00een\u0103 mi-am f\u0103cut.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Astfel, patru seri, cele dou\u0103 c\u00eent\u0103ri ale Canonului \u00eemi amintesc iar\u0103 \u015fi iar\u0103 istoria duhovniceasc\u0103 a lumii, care este \u015fi istoria mea. M\u0103 ispite\u015fte cu \u00eent\u00eempl\u0103rile \u015fi faptele hot\u0103r\u00eetoare ale trecutului a c\u0103ror semnifica\u0163ie \u015fi putere sunt oricum ve\u015fnice, pentru c\u0103 fiecare suflet omenesc \u2013 unic \u015fi de ne\u00eenlocuit \u2013 se mi\u015fc\u0103, ca s\u0103 spunem a\u015fa, c\u0103tre aceea\u015fi dram\u0103, se afl\u0103 fa\u0163\u0103 \u00een fa\u0163\u0103 cu acelea\u015fi dileme fundamentale, descoper\u0103 aceea\u015fi ultim\u0103 realitate. Exemplele scripturistice sunt mai mult dec\u00eet simple \u201eparabole\u201d \u2013 a\u015fa cum mul\u0163i oameni cred \u2013 \u015fi care g\u0103sesc deci acest Canon prea \u201eistovitor\u201d, prea \u00eenc\u0103rcat cu nume \u015fi \u00eent\u00eempl\u0103ri nesemnificative! De ce s\u0103 vorbim, se \u00eentreab\u0103 ei, de Cain \u015fi Abel, de David \u015fi Solomon, c\u00eend ar putea fi cu mult mai simplu s\u0103 spun: \u201eAm p\u0103c\u0103tuit\u201d? Ceea ce ei nu \u00een\u0163eleg, totu\u015fi, este c\u0103 simplul cuv\u00eent p\u0103cat \u00een tradi\u0163ia biblic\u0103 \u015fi cre\u015ftin\u0103 are o \u00eenc\u0103rc\u0103tur\u0103 pe care omul \u201emodern\u201d este, pur \u015fi simplu, incapabil s\u0103 o cuprind\u0103 \u015fi care face ca m\u0103rturisirea p\u0103catelor sale s\u0103 fie ceva foarte diferit de adev\u0103rata poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103 cre\u015ftin\u0103. Mediul cultural \u00een care tr\u0103im \u015fi care modeleaz\u0103 concep\u0163ia noastr\u0103 asupra lumii, exclude \u00een fapt no\u0163iunea de p\u0103cat. C\u0103ci dac\u0103 p\u0103catul este \u00eent\u00eei de toate c\u0103derea omului de la o foarte mare \u00een\u0103l\u0163ime spiritual\u0103, respingerea de c\u0103tre om a \u201echem\u0103rii sale \u00eenalte\u201d, ce pot \u00eensemna toate acestea \u00een\u0103untrul unei culturi care ignor\u0103 \u015fi neag\u0103 aceast\u0103 \u201emare \u00een\u0103l\u0163ime\u201d \u015fi aceast\u0103 \u201echemare\u201d \u015fi care define\u015fte omul nu ca pe cel \u201ede deasupra\u201d ci ca pe cel de \u201ededesubt\u201d \u2013 o cultur\u0103 care chiar \u015fi atunci c\u00eend nu \u00eel neag\u0103 f\u0103\u0163i\u015f pe Dumnezeu este, \u00een realitate, materialist\u0103 p\u00een\u0103 \u00een cele mai ad\u00eenci structuri ale sale, care se g\u00eende\u015fte la via\u0163a omului numai \u00een termenii bunurilor materiale \u015fi ignor\u0103 voca\u0163ia sa transcendental\u0103? Aici, p\u0103catul este g\u00eendit \u00eent\u00eei de toate ca o \u201esl\u0103biciune\u201d fireasc\u0103, datorat\u0103 de obicei unei \u201eneadapt\u0103ri\u201d care are la r\u00eendul ei r\u0103d\u0103cini sociale \u015fi care, prin urmare, poate fi eliminat\u0103 printr-o mai bun\u0103 organizare social\u0103 \u015fi economic\u0103. Din acest motiv, chiar \u015fi atunci c\u00eend \u00ee\u015fi m\u0103rturise\u015fte p\u0103catele, omul \u201emodern\u201d nu mai face poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103; fiind sigur de juste\u0163ea felului \u00een care \u00een\u0163elege religia, el ori \u00een\u015firuie formal \u00eenc\u0103lc\u0103ri formale ale unor reguli formale ori \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fe\u015fte \u201eproblemele\u201d sale cu duhovnicul \u2013 a\u015ftept\u00eend de la religie un tratament terapeutic care \u00eel va face din nou fericit \u015fi \u201e\u00een r\u00eenduial\u0103\u201d. \u00cen nici un caz nu putem vorbi aici despre poc\u0103in\u0163\u0103 ca despre cutremurarea omului, care, v\u0103z\u00eend \u00een sine \u201eimaginea\u201d slavei celei de negr\u0103it, realizeaz\u0103 c\u0103 a p\u00eeng\u0103rit-o, a tr\u0103dat-o \u015fi a alungat-o din via\u0163a sa poc\u0103in\u0163a, ca p\u0103rere de r\u0103u, vine din ad\u00eencimea cea mai profund\u0103 a con\u015ftiin\u0163ei omene\u015fti; ca dorin\u0163\u0103 de re\u00eentoarcere, ca \u00eencredin\u0163are \u00een iubirea \u015fi milostivirea lui Dumnezeu. Din acest motiv, nu este \u00eendeajuns s\u0103 spui \u201eAm p\u0103c\u0103tuit\u201d. Aceast\u0103 medita\u0163ie ne duce \u00eentr-o cultur\u0103 duhovniceasc\u0103 diferit\u0103, ne provoac\u0103 cu o viziune total diferit\u0103 asupra omului, asupra vie\u0163ii sale, asupra \u0163elurilor \u015fi motiva\u0163iilor sale. Ea reface \u00een noi spa\u0163iul spiritual fundamental \u00een cadrul c\u0103ruia poc\u0103in\u0163a devine din nou posibil\u0103. C\u00eend auzim de exemplu:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201eNu m-am asem\u0103nat, Iisuse, drept\u0103\u0163ii lui Abel. Daruri primite nu \u0163i-am adus \u0162ie nici odinioar\u0103, nici fapte dumnezeie\u015fti, nici jertf\u0103 curat\u0103, nici via\u0163\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 prihan\u0103\u201d,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00cen\u0163elegem c\u0103 istoria primei jertfe (cea a lui Cain \u015fi Abel \u2013 n.tr.), at\u00eet de lapidar amintit\u0103 \u00een Biblie, ne descoper\u0103 ceva esen\u0163ial despre propria noastr\u0103 via\u0163\u0103, despre \u00eens\u0103\u015fi fiin\u0163a uman\u0103, \u00een\u0163elegem c\u0103 \u00eenainte de toate p\u0103catul este respingerea vie\u0163ii ca ofrand\u0103 sau jertf\u0103 adus\u0103 lui Dumnezeu sau, cu alte cuvinte, p\u0103catul este respingerea orient\u0103rii divine a vie\u0163ii, deci, acel p\u0103cat este, la originile sale, devia\u0163ia iubirii noastre de la \u0163elul s\u0103u final. Aceasta este descoperirea care face posibil\u0103 m\u0103rturisirea a ceva ce este at\u00eet de profund \u00eendep\u0103rtat de experien\u0163a \u201emodern\u0103\u201d a vie\u0163ii \u015fi care acum devine at\u00eet de adev\u0103rat din punct de vedere \u201eexisten\u0163ial\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201eZiditorule, f\u0103c\u00eendu-m\u0103 lut viu, ai pus \u00eentru mine trup \u015fi oase, \u015fi suflare de via\u0163\u0103! Ci, o, F\u0103c\u0103torul meu, M\u00eentuitorule \u015fi Judec\u0103torule, prime\u015fte-m\u0103 pe mine, cel ce m\u0103 poc\u0103iesc.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pentru a fi ascultat cum se cuvine, Canonul cel Mare presupune, desigur, cunoa\u015fterea Sfintei Scripturi \u015fi priceperea de a ne \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fi din medita\u0163iile asupra \u00een\u0163elesurilor Canonului pentru noi. Dac\u0103 ast\u0103zi at\u00eet de mul\u0163i oameni \u00eel consider\u0103 plicticos \u015fi f\u0103r\u0103 sens, aceasta e din cauza credin\u0163ei lor, care nu se mai hr\u0103ne\u015fte din izvorul Sfintelor Scripturi care, pentru P\u0103rin\u0163ii Bisericii, era izvorul credin\u0163ei.
